Hair Styling Tools to Keep in Your Desk

Jul 08, 2020

Hair styling at work doesn’t have to be hard. So you’ve hit snooze and don’t have time to make your hair runway ready. Been there, done that. You get to work and realize your hair isn’t even business appropriate. Also – been there, done that. I’ve come up with a solution to this problem, and I promise it doesn’t include not snoozing. It’s a small pencil pouch in your desk filled with essential hair styling tools – because who uses pencils these days anyway? Here are the most helpful items in my pouch:

1. Teasing Comb

I owe this tool for the amount of times it has saved me from flat hair. Hello volume.

2. Travel-Sized Regular Comb

In case you aren’t feeling the volume but forgot to brush your hair before work (how many times can I say been there done that in one blog post?)

3. Clear Elastics

Clear elastics usually come in packs of 75 or more, so you won’t need to restock them for a while. These elastics are perfect for a sleek look at work.

4. Pencil

So it turns out you might want to throw one of these in your pouch, but not for writing purposes. If you haven’t yet, check out this blog to learn how to do a pencil bun in 15 seconds.

5. Dry Shampoo

For the days when you hit snooze more than once and don’t have time to wash your hair. Dry shampoo is also great for adding texture to your hair. Try a travel size.

6. Bobby Pins

Just a few will do, because you never know when you’ll want to pin back your flyaways.

7. Scrunchie

Because sometimes, that’s just all you have time to do.
